  2. Katie says:

The Blackie House in the old town is a splendid, comfortable and best located apartment. The ideal way to visit Edinburgh with family or friends. It is well equipped, spacious, clean and have one of the nicest views of the Mound. Museums, restaurants and shops are just a stone throw from it. Katie, who looks after the Blackie House, is extremely nice and helpful. I strong recommend it for those who are looking to have a good time in this wonderful country. For first time travelers in Edinburgh I also recommend a very entertaining book of a scottish writer named “44 Scotland Street” by Alexandre McCall Smith. Ricardo Guerra (Brazil) Feb 2013
