It was great to have a more comfortable, less expensive alternative to a hotel for a week long visit. Very nice to have a well equipped kitchen. Despite being so close to many historic sites, it was very quiet and private.

Holyrood was reserved for two couples but due to injury the other couple had to return to Memphis from Paris. We considered down sizing for less space but after seeing the lovely apartment it was evident that Holyrood could not be equaled. The style, location, price and courtesy we received were what we have come to expect in Scotland. We agree with all that James and Bill commented on before us. WE SHALL RETURN. George & Marcelle

I’ve stayed at the Royal Mile 2 twice and love it. Wouldn’t consider any other location unless I need a large space. Katie is wonderful and will take excellent care of you.

The apartment is comfortable, warm and spacious as well as being well equipped and central. Katie was welcoming and kind enough to enable us to check in to the apartment when we arrived a little early.
We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and there’s always a nice pub or restaurant to pop into when the weather gets too bracing.

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern well equipped St Mary’s Street apartment. It is very quiet and comfortable and walking distance from all the attractions. The most comfortable queen sized bed I have ever encountered at a tourist venue! We loved coming home from a long day to put up our feet, have a glass of wine while my teenage son watched TV, before we went out for dinner or even prepared our own dinner in the lovely kitchen. Heaters in every room made the apartment cosy and warm. Will definitely be back!

Oustanding!!
Super clean, comfortable and well furnished. Great views and very convenient to all the sights. Katie is fantastic…spends the time you need to get you oriented. Wish we could have stayed longer. This will not dissappoint – ***** stars !!!!!

Holyrood was a wonderful place for two couples from the US. It is close enough for walking to the main tourist locations, but far enough away to be very quiet and private. The apartment was bright and cheery. The sixth floor location made for wonderful views. The living room, dining area and kitchen were all generous in size and custom made for two couples.

I and my three sons found the apartment to me quite comfortable
The location was great. The apartment was very affortable and met all our needs. It is certainly be a place I would want to stay at when I return to Edinburgh
