The flat is situated in a quiet complex just off the Grassmarket. The Grassmarket is a very vibrant, pedestrianised area lying below the Castle walls in the Old Town where open air markets are held regularly and visitors and locals enjoy sitting outside the many popular bars, cafes and restaurants. There are some wonderful individual shops here selling old books, antiques, vintage clothing and good quality local crafts.
The apartment has one bedroom with a comfortable double bed and crisp cotton sheets, an open-plan living room/kitchen which is bright and airy and stylishly furnished, and a bathroom with shower over the bath. The kitchen is well equipped should you feel like doing some home-cooking though there are so many places to eat nearby you may prefer to eat out.
There is also a sofa bed in the living room if there are more than 2 of you or if you don't feel like sharing the bedroom.
Secure parking is available and included in the rental. Also included is an ample supply of soft fluffy towels, linen, heating, lighting, Wifi internet and a starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, local shortbread etc.
The apartment is very accessible to all parts of the city being 5 minutes from Princes Street and less than that to the Royal Mile, the centre of the historic Old Town. The other main tourist attractions and the cultural venues of theatres and cinemas are also within easy walking distance.
