A high-quality Edinburgh self-catering apartment in the south side of the capital
Bruntsfield is a neighborhood with its own character and charm. Although the city centre is easily reachable by foot, the surroundings of Viewforth Square have plenty to offer, with leafy residential streets and a wealth of unique cafes, boutiques and restaurants. Guests will enjoy exploring the specialty shops along Bruntsfield Place, or taking in the view of Arthur’s Seat from across the Meadows.
A main door entrance takes you to a spacious hallway with hardwood flooring and eclectic decor. Modern furniture and large, light-filled windows make the master bedroom a wonderfully clean and comfortable space. In addition to the king-sized bed, a plush couch and window desk offer options for both work and leisure.
In the second bedroom, a double bed and elegant blue grey furnishings create a comfortable and relaxing retreat. The two bedrooms share a spacious bathroom, which features a one-of-a-kind bath and shower located atop three rounded, vintage checkerboard-tiled steps. A tall frosted window provides a bright but private bathing experience.
The kitchen and living area look out onto the lush garden, which includes a table and chairs for alfresco dining or drinking. Indoors, the ample and well-equipped kitchen space contains everything you might need for self-catering, with an extendable dining table and extra foldaway chairs in the kitchen cupboard. A comfortable orange couch and retro mid-century style wallpaper make for a cheerful and characterful space.
A washing machine is at your disposal, and a high chair and travel cot are available by request.

Around and about
This Edinburgh self-catering accommodation is a twenty minutes’ walk from the city centre, and just minutes away from the thoroughfare of Bruntsfield Place, which is home to numerous boutiques, cafes, and superb specialty food shops. A five-minute walk in the other direction will take you to the famous Union Canal path, with its willow trees and colorful houseboats. There, you can also hire a private boat from the social enterprise Re-Union Canal Boats for special events.
A ten-minute walk brings you to Bruntsfield Links, one of Scotland’s earliest golf courses. If a quick round seems like a good idea, why not rent clubs from the Golf Tavern or just bring your own! The green expanse of the Meadows, a popular spot for summer sunbathing and barbecues, is just beyond.
Edinburgh Castle and the attractions of the Old Town are just a scenic 25-minute walk away. A 30-minute walk or a 20-minute bus ride will take you to Waverley Station and for those of a more artistic disposition, The King’s Theatre, The Royal Lyceum, Traverse Theatre, and The Usher Hall are all less than a 20-minute walk away.
A pleasant 8-minute walk along the Union Canal will take you to Fountain Park, a popular restaurant and entertainment hub in Edinburgh. At Fountain Park, you can enjoy the latest movie releases at Cineworld Edinburgh, which is also home to Edinburgh’s only 4DX and IMAX screens and Scotland’s only Screen X cinema screen; or why not try HyperBowling, or the table tennis and pool tables next door at Tenpin. If you’re holidaying with children, perhaps the Laser Station, Gravity Trampoline Parks or volcano falls mini-golf adventure are for you. Finally, if you happen to be visiting Edinburgh for educational purposes, you will find this comfortable holiday apartment very close to the Edinburgh Napier University Merchiston Campus (7-minute walk) and the Old College of the University of Edinburgh (18-minute walk).
