Close to Waverley Station, the airport express bus terminus and many of the Fringe and Festival venues. Edinburgh university is a short walk too.
The Royal Mile and Canongate contain an excellent range of small specialist shops and grocers. There is a wealth of traditional and modern bars, bistros and restaurants within easy walking distance.
