Elegant three-bedroom apartment on a quiet street in the heart of the New Town.

Situated in Edinburgh’s New Town district (a World Heritage Site), our Cumberland Street apartment is clean and spacious that provides a comfortable and convenient choice for your holiday rental stay in Scotland’s wonderful capital city - Edinburgh.

Interior layout

The apartment is tastefully furnished throughout in lovely calming colours. In the living room, the bright tones are complemented by the large, south-facing windows and traditional wooden floors, all of which give a welcoming sense of warmth. There are two bedrooms, one twin and one double (with en-suite), and a further study/bedroom with a raised bed (accessed via a ladder).



Cumberland Street is an ideal base from which to explore Edinburgh’s many curiosities. A short walk will take you to Princes Street and Edinburgh’s premier shopping districts. Keep going and you’ll find yourself in the historic Old Town, where you can visit the castle or perhaps take a tour at the Real Mary Kings Close…  and if all that sounds a bit much, why not just take a stroll along the street and have a drink in the Cumberland Bar or buy dinner at the Sunday Farmer’s Market in Stockbridge.   Paid on-street parking (free from 5.30pm until 8.30am and free at weekends).


Booking requirements

One member of the booking party must be over 25 years old. We reserve the right to vet any booking. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as addresses and ID.



This apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required one week before arrival and will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure. Alternatively, we can offer you an insurance policy to cover damages and excess cleaning. The cost of the policy will vary depending on the length of your stay.

Check-in / Check-out

Check-in from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:30.

We meet and welcome all our guests to introduce you to the apartment, hand over keys and answer any questions. We can also arrange self check-in, please let us know if you would prefer this option.


Luggage Storage

Our guests are welcome to store the luggage at our Greatbase office located at 24 St Stephen Street during our office hours from Monday to Friday free of charge. Please confirm your drop-off time and the collection time if you would like to use this service.
