A luxury holiday home spreads over two levels in Edinburgh’s New Town
This fabulous luxury self-catering apartment spans two lower levels and is situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The New Town is renowned as a paradigm of city planning and for its neo-classical and Georgian architecture dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The property is within easy walking distance of all the amenities to be found on the area’s two most famous streets, George Street and Princes Street. Access is via the flight of stairs extending to the patio from the street above.
The focal point of Drummond Place is undoubtedly its kitchen. Finished to the highest standard, it has a bright and uplifting atmosphere, thanks to its ceiling-high windows. The room has abundant seating courtesy of the breakfast bar and dining table, and naturally features all the usual amenities, including a modern oven and a traditional AGA cooker. There are two twin bedrooms and a further double (with en-suite), as well as a separate living room.
The fresh, neutral décor ascribes the property a light and airy aesthetic. The first of its two shower rooms is conveniently located just beyond the foyer. Farther ahead is the well-equipped and spacious kitchen-cum-dining room, which has two cookers (one modern; each with a hob and oven), a fridge-freezer with ice and water dispensers, a microwave and a dishwasher. The breakfast bar seats four and the dining table eight, while the various units provide ample storage space.
The sitting room caters to all your entertainment needs with its flatscreen TV, WiFi hub, Blu-ray player and selection of DVDs. A twin room completes the upper level.
On the lower floor is the master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a fireplace, and an ensuite bathroom equipped with a heated towel rail and a shower over the bath. Along from the utility room, which contains the washing machine and tumble dryer, are a shower room and a second twin room.

This holiday home is located in Edinburgh’s prestigious New Town, just a short stroll from the city centre and all the capital’s world-renowned tourist attractions.

From George Street, the many enchanting attractions of Edinburgh’s Old Town are just a short distance away – legendary Edinburgh Castle and the famous Royal Mile are only a fifteen-minute walk from the Heriot Row apartment, and a very scenic walk at that!
In the opposite direction of the Old Town, you will find Stockbridge, with its cafes, restaurants, shops and excellent Sunday Market. Edinburgh’s lovely botanic gardens are a twenty-minute walk this way – in the same area, you will also find idyllic Dean Village, set upon the leafy banks of the scenic Water of Leith Walkway. Paid on-street parking is free from 5.30 p.m until 8.30 a.m on weekdays and free on weekends.
One member of the booking party must be over 25 years old. We reserve the right to vet any booking. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as addresses and ID.
This self-catering holiday apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required and will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure.
- This apartment accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
- Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
- Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
- No pets are allowed.
- Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
- Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or outside the apartment building on the stairs.
- Access to the back garden is not permitted.

Check-in is from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:30.
We will welcome you in person to introduce you to the apartment, hand over keys and answer any questions. We can also arrange self check-in—please let us know if you prefer this option.
You are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our Greatbase Office, located at 24 St Stephen Street, during office hours from Monday to Friday. Please confirm your drop-off and collection time if you would like to use this service.
