The surrounding area is teaming with life; with award-winning restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops all within walking distance.

Located near the beautiful Dean Village and a stone’s throw from the lovely Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, this cosy one-bedroom Edinburgh self-catering apartment is the perfect base to discover the city with the added convenience of being in a quiet residential area.  Great for those looking for a short term let or a holiday accommodation near all the sites Edinburgh has to offer.

The property has been recently re-furbished to an extremely high and standard with thoughtful touches throughout.

Interior layout

Accessed via its own private entrance, you are welcomed into a bright hallway with a lovely neutral colour palate which leads off to a double bedroom and living room with adjoining kitchen.

The inviting living room space boasts an L-shaped sofa and a TV with Sky and Netflix available, along with books and games, making it the perfect space to relax and while away the evening with a whisky (or two) after a day of sight-seeing. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons necessary for whipping up a culinary storm if you decide to have a night in, including a coffee machine, microwave, gas stove and dishwasher, with a nifty breakfast bar with space for two to dine at.

Sleeping up to two people, the elegantly decorated bedroom has a sumptuous super king-size bed and ample storage space to hang up your clothes and feel right at home. This can also be divided into two singles upon request – please let us know in advance if you require this option – or there is an additional pull out bed which can fit a child up to 12 years old (please note we cannot accommodate children under the age of 5 years old).

It also features a modern en-suite bathroom for optimum comfort with a bath for unwinding in, overhead shower and luxury Bower Collective toiletries, which are eco-friendly as well as sustainable and smell great!

There is a small utilities room with a washing machine, ironing board and iron if you need them and towels and linen are supplied.

Around and about

Belgrave Crescent is ideally suited for those who want the convenience of being close to the centre of town, while enjoying a more relaxed and residential feel.

In just a few minutes guests will find themselves at the West End of Edinburgh, the jumping off point for all your sightseeing to begin. From here you can wonder along to Edinburgh’s historic Old Town where one can pay a visit to Edinburgh Castle or take a stroll along the Royal Mile, the historic thoroughfare that connects the Castle to the city’s royal residence, The Palace of Holyrood House. And if this seems a bit too touristy, why not just settle down in the Grassmarket and enjoy some traditional fare and a well-earned cold drink.

The apartment is equally well situated to explore other areas of Edinburgh, including the famous Dean Village – boasting historic architecture and a harmonious blend of heritage and natural beauty – which is only a 10 minute walk away.

A brisk 15 minute walk downhill will take guests to the charming Stockbridge district, filled with cute cafes for people watching, independent shops and traditional Scottish pubs.

Booking requirements

One member of the booking party must be at least 25 years old.

Important

This holiday apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £200 is required prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the apartment, will be fully refunded one week after your departure.

Please kindly note that the apartment is in the basement therefore, it is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for anyone who cannot climb the stairs.

We cannot accommodate children under the age of 5 years old.

House rules

  • This apartment accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
  • Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
  • Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets are allowed.
  • Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
  • Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or the courtyard.

Check-in is from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:30.

Luggage Storage

You are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our Greatbase Office, located at 24 St Stephen Street, during office hours from Monday to Friday. Please confirm your drop-off and collection time if you would like to use this service.
