Perfectly situated in a residential area tucked away on Loganlea Drive, this ground floor 2-bedroom self-catering flat is ideal for individuals looking for a laid-back holiday escape. You’ll find yourself just beyond the heart of Edinburgh, with plenty of outdoorsy activities at your fingertips. In the immediate area, convenient public transport links are also available to guide you into the vibrant city when you’re in the mood for some urban exploration.

Interior layout
Accessed through its own private walkway, you are first welcomed by a beautiful garden, complete with a seating area perfect for unwinding, admiring some stunning flowers and getting lost in a good book. Stepping inside, a warm earth-toned hallway guides you through the home, connecting 2 bedrooms, a stylish bathroom and a bright, inviting living room.
Reminiscent of a greenhouse, the bohemian living room is a lush haven for plant lovers, filled with vibrant greenery that creates a serene atmosphere. A comfortable sofa and elegant set of chairs make it the perfect spot to loosen up after a long day of sight-seeing and exploration. This open plan living room also comes with a dining area, offering a dining table comfortably seating up to 4 people.



Diving into the master bedroom, a peaceful king-sized sanctuary designed for rest and relaxation awaits you. A plush bed, adorned with soft linens and accent pillows, sits against a backdrop of artistic décor. The space is designed to feel both snug and spacious, making it an ideal retreat at the end of the day.


The second bedroom invites you into a tranquil retreat, featuring a spacious double bed dressed in plush linens and soft pillows. Bathed in warm, ambient lighting and accented by tasteful décor, this serene space is thoughtfully designed for ultimate comfort. You’ll also have access to a study work space if you need to finish off some deadlines.


If you’re feeling inspired to cook, the adjacent kitchen offers a stylish and functional space that is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal.


Next to the living room, you’ll find a bathroom that combines practicality with elegance, featuring a modern white bathtub with a sleek black shower frame. A large frosted window allows natural light to stream in while maintaining privacy. Wooden flooring and potted plants bring a touch of warmth and nature to the space, creating a spa-like atmosphere perfect for bathing.

Towels and linen are supplied. A travel cot and high chair can be provided free of charge upon request, provided the request is made at least three days prior to your arrival. Please note that cot linen is not supplied, so you will need to bring your own if required for your stay.

Around and about
Loganlea Drive is ideal for those who prefer a peaceful and outdoorsy getaway, while also having the choice of travelling into the city-centre. Located just 1.2 miles away, you’ll have easy access to Lochend Park where you can immerse yourself in nature while you admire modern dinosaurs bathing in the lake. Take advantage of the Lochend Viewing Platform for bird watching, where you’ll be able to search for favoured birds such as the Grey Heron, Tufted Duck and Eurasian Coot.
A brisk 16-minute wander shoreward will leave you standing by the Craigentinny Golf Course, the ultimate destination to practice your drives and putts. Fancy a soothing sandy stroll for some peace of mind? The famed Portobello Beach is just about a 19-minute bus ride away after an average 1km running pace (6 minutes) walk to the bus stop. It is a common tradition to enjoy a large slice of pizza from Civerinos as you look out into the sea.
Looking to fit in a quick gym sesh while away from home? Meadowbank Sports Centre is just a mile away, providing impressive facilities for all sorts of physical activities such as badminton, table tennis, volleyball, etc.
If you’re in need of some retail therapy, not only do you have some lovely choices at your doorstep, you can take the 19 or 25 bus at a stop roughly 5-minutes away that will direct you towards the city-centre where you can explore the popular St James Centre for some new bits. Meadowbank Shopping Park is also in the peripheral region offering a myriad of shopping outlets.

Important
This holiday apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £200 is required prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the apartment, will be fully refunded one week after your departure.
House rules
- This apartment accommodates a maximum of 4 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
- Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
- Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
- No pets are allowed.
- Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
- Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
- For your safety and to comply with local regulations, the wood burner in the living room is a decorative feature only and cannot be used during your stay.
