Situated at the bottom of the Royal Mile right next to some of Edinburgh’s stunning natural scenery, the apartment enjoys all the benefits of its location allowing guests to take in the most important tourist sites on foot. Famous attractions such as St Giles Cathedral are a 20 minute stroll away along the famous Royal Mile, filled with independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

One of the highlights of the apartment is the stunning view it provides. On clear days, one can enjoy breathtaking views of Holyrood Park (with winter views of Arthurs Seat, The Craggs, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse – once all the leaves have fallen off the trees!).

Interior layout

The charming apartment boasts two cosy bedrooms, the first bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. Each bedroomhas clothes rail and chest of drawers.

The modern kitchen, allowing guests to cook their own meals if desired, is fully equipped with a hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, as well as all the most useful appliances including an electric kettle, toaster and microwave.

If in need of some relaxation, the comfortable living room provides a space to unwind after a busy day of getting to know the city with ample space for your whole group to relax together or have dinner at the dining table in the window.

The sleek bathroom features a modern shower with a dual head shower (fixed overhead drench head and a wall-mounted handset) and a washing machine, which you are welcome to use during your stay if you wish.

The location of this apartment is unparalleled, with quick access to Arthur’s Seat (in fact an extinct volcano) which you can take a walk up to enjoy the incredible views of the city and the North Sea.

Equally close by you will find The Palace of Holyroodhouse as well as the striking modern architecture of the Scottish Parliament. Guests can stroll up to Edinburgh Castle in less than thirty minutes, enjoying the world-class restaurants, pubs and other delights the Old Town has to offer on the way. In addition, you can also take a leisurely stroll to Carlton Hill, Edinburgh Waverley Station, the top end of Princes Street, or St Margarets Loch in the park – all of which are just a short distance away from the apartment. Whether you are interested in history, architecture, or just want to soak up the vibrant atmosphere of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, Edinburgh has something for everyone.

Other hidden gems along the Royal Mile near the apartment include Dunbar’s Close Garden, a tiny 1600s garden tucked away beside Canongate Kirk, as well as the Scottish Poetry Library on Crichton’s Close.

This holiday apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the apartment, will be fully refunded one week after your departure.

House rules

  • This apartment accommodates a maximum of 3 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
  • Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
  • Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets are allowed.
  • Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
  • Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
