A stylish and cosy modern mews cottage in the heart of the New Town

Part of a tastefully converted 19th-century warehouse, Albany Lane offers a quiet and comfortable hide-away in Scotland’s historic capital, with all the city's buzz still right on your doorstep. It also has the added bonus of a private garage and patio area.

Interior layout

Large glass doors leading out to the patio bring plenty of light into the apartment’s open-plan living and kitchen area. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a master bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) that can be made up either as a king-sized bed or two twins. An additional shower room is located on the ground floor. The private garage space can be accessed from the main living area. The garage itself can accommodate a vehicle up to 4.4m in length—it may be unsuitable for larger cars.


A private patio area provides a pleasant space for enjoying a breakfast or a nice drink outside. The adjoining thoroughfare of Broughton Street is home to a variety of bars, cafes and bistros. Princes Street and Edinburgh’s Waverley Railway Station are less than five minutes away, making this apartment particularly convenient for guests arriving by train.

Booking requirements

One member of the booking party must be over 25 years old. We reserve the right to vet any booking. We require names and ages of all guests, as well as addresses and ID.


This apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required and will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure. Alternatively, can we offer you an insurance policy to cover damages and excess cleaning. The cost of the policy will vary depending on the length of your stay.

Check-in / Check-out

Check-in is from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:30.

We will welcome you in person to introduce you to the apartment, hand over keys and answer any questions. We can also arrange self check-in—please let us know if you prefer this option.

Luggage Storage

You are welcome to store your luggage free of charge at our Greatbase Office, located at 24 St Stephen Street, during office hours from Monday to Friday. Please confirm your drop-off and collection time if you would like to use this service.
