Our Rutland Square apartment is superbly finished and located right in the heart of the city, just a stone’s throw from Princes Street Gardens. 

Interior layout

Perfect for couples or business travellers, our Rutland Square holiday apartment is highly space-efficient with modern fittings and furnishings throughout. The double wall-bed folds away to leave a clean and comfortable living room with an adjoining shower room and a modern kitchenette with granite worktop.

Interior detail

This first-floor, self-catering holiday apartment is a compact and tastefully decorated space. The kitchenette is separated by a sliding door and contains a steam/convection microwave-cooker, a boiling tap and an induction hob alongside a fridge and essential food utensils.

A small dining table for two sits in front of the large window which features working wooden shutters and embroidered blackout curtains. The double bed retracts from the inner wall and an adjacent fitted wardrobe with mirror provides clothes storage, with a hairdryer and iron in the drawer underneath. The central storage above the decorative hearth contains a vacuum cleaner and ironing board, while a dishwasher and washing machine occupy the cupboard opposite. The ensuite shower room also has a sliding door and features an electric power shower.

Around and about

Rutland Square sits just around the corner from the Caledonian Hotel on the west end of Princess Street and is one of Edinburgh’s most central residential areas (and home to several consulates). A short walk will take guests to the heart of the city and the many curiosities of the Old Town as well as the West End, while the Traverse Theatre, Lyceum Theatre and Usher Hall are all just around the corner.  Paid on-street parking (free from 6.30pm until 8.30am and free on Sundays). You can reach Princes Street within 3 minutes walk and the famous Edinburgh castle within 15 minutes walk.

This apartment is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £200 is required one week prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the apartment, will be fully refunded one week following your departure.

Check-in from 16:00 until 22:00, or later by special arrangement.
You will be asked to check-out before 10:30.

We meet and welcome all our guests to introduce you to the apartment, hand over keys and answer any questions. We can also arrange self check-in, please let us know if you would prefer this option.

Luggage Storage

Our guests are welcome to store the luggage at our Greatbase office located at 24 St Stephen Street during our office hours from Monday to Friday free of charge. Please confirm your drop-off time and the collection time if you would like to use this service.
