Interior layout

Step inside through the entrance hallway, where the light walls and wood flooring create a clean first impression and lead through to the main rooms.

The living room is arranged around a sofa and armchair, with a TV and a dining table set nearby for meals or evening entertainment. A large window brings in plenty of natural light and looks out across the surrounding buildings and greenery, giving the room an open feel.

The kitchen sits separately and is fitted with white cabinetry and wooden worktops. It includes an integrated oven and microwave, a gas hob, a fridge freezer and a washing machine, along with the everyday items needed for self-catering stays.

The main bedroom features a king-size bed, bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe, with a window dressed in soft curtains and a neutral colour scheme throughout. The second bedroom is more compact and has a double bed, with a window at the far end of the room and simple furnishings that keep the space uncluttered.

The bathroom is finished with neutral tiling and includes a bathtub with overhead shower and a toilet.

Towels and linen are supplied and a high chair and travel cot are available by request. Towels and linen are supplied. If you need a travel cot and/or high chair for your little one, please request the travel cot and/or high chair at least three days in advance of your arrival date. Be sure to bring your own linen for the travel cot as we do not have the linen for the cot. The travel cot comes equipped with a standard UK lightweight foldable mattress. However, if you prefer an additional mattress for extra comfort, please bring that along as well.

This Edinburgh holiday retreat is not permitted to host stag or hen parties, nor any other type of party. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the apartment. Pets are not permitted to visit or stay.

Within around 10 minutes by bus, you can be on Princes Street, known for high street shopping and castle views, or George Street, where you will find bars, restaurants, and elegant shops, while the Old Town is also within easy reach in roughly 25 minutes for the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and the National Museum of Scotland.

When it comes to food and drink, this location gives you plenty of choice across Stockbridge, the New Town, and the wider centre of Edinburgh. Booking requirements

Important

This accomodation is not suitable for stag or hen parties. A damage deposit of £250 is required prior to arrival and, in the event that there is no damage to the house, will be fully refunded one week after your departure.

Please note that this apartment is located on the 4th floor in a residential building with no access to a lift and is accessed via up 2 flights of stairs from the 2nd floor entrance point. Therefore, this property is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.

Please also note that there is no dedicated parking at the apartment. If you’re arriving in Edinburgh by car, you may use the pay-and-display on-street parking bays managed by Edinburgh Council.

Metered parking operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, parking is free – meaning you can park without charge from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. on weekdays, and from 5:30 p.m. on Friday until 8:30 a.m. on Monday over the weekend.

House rules

  • This apartment accommodates a maximum of 4 guests. No unregistered guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight.
  • Parties, events, and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. All guests must comply with our other house rules regarding noise and the neighborhood.
  • Please do not engage in any anti-social behaviour. Guests must not behave in a way which causes, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to any person; or which amounts to harassment of any person; or causes damage to anyone’s property. This includes high levels of noise and drunken or threatening behaviour, which is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets are allowed.
  • Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 9:00 pm and 7:30 a.m.
  • Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles, or incense burners. Smoking is not permitted both inside the apartment and outside of the apartment building.
